Jean's artful command of Anemo can deal massive damage to targets and displace large groups. As she levels up, her use shift over to that of a support character. Her damage stays rock-solid, but as others push ahead with their numbers, Jean unlocks the ability to heal party members with her attacks and offer up speed buffs, increasing the overall DPS of the squad even when she isn't the active member.

As the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, it should come as no surprise to see Jean take a hands-on approach to its work. Though she'll often be found working diligently in her office to keep the organization adhering to its duties, she can also pitch in as a team member of the Traveler's squad - with a lucky Wish, at least.
Jean is a 5-star character only available in the permanent banner. She also appears in the character banner if you lost the 50/50 pity. This means that it might be a little hard to get her.
Combat Details
Jean's rapid sword strikes can cut through the meat of most enemies with relative ease. As her Constellations unlock, Jean begins to fill the role of an Offensive Support. She can slowly heal with her Normal Attacks, displace encroaching enemies with her Element Skill, or heal for massive amounts with her Element Burst.
Because other elements can "Swirl" with Anemo, she's often used to set up high-damage burst combos with other characters rather than dish out the pain herself. All of her benefits scale with ATK, however, so while she won't be doing the brunt of damage as time goes on, she'll certainly try her best to keep up.
Jean's Talents and Skill Priorities
Jean's role in the party tends to sway to the supportive side of things. She can deal a bit of damage and throw small opponents off of cliffs for insta-death, but most of the time she's going to be the healer of the party. Because of that Jean's skill priorities are:
- Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill
- Normal Attack
Type | Name | Effect |
---|---|---|
Normal Attack | Favonius Bladework | Normal Attack Performs up to 5 consecutive strikes. Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to launch an enemy using the power of wind. Plunging Attack Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact. |
Elemental Skill | Gale Blade | Focusing the might of the formless wind around her blade, Jean releases a miniature storm, launching enemies in the direction she aims at, dealing massiveAnemoDMG. Hold At the cost of continued Stamina consumption, Jean can command the whirlwind to pull surrounding enemies towards her front. |
Elemental Burst | Dandelion Breeze | Calling upon the wind's protection, Jean creates a swirling Dandelion Field, launching surrounding enemies and causingAnemoDMG. At the same time, she instantly regenerates a large amount of HP for nearby allied units and all party members. HP restored scale off Jean's ATK. Dandelion Field
|
First Ascension Passive | Wind Companion | Hits by Normal Attacks have a 50% chance to regenerate HP equal to 15% of Jean's ATK for all party members. |
Fourth Ascension Passive | Let The Wind Lead | UsingDandelion Breezewill regenerate 20% of its Energy. |
Passive Talent | Guiding Breeze | When a Perfect Cooking is achieved on a dish with restorative effects, there is a 12% chance to obtain double the product. |
Jean's Constellations
Jean, being a 5-star character that's only available in the Standard Banner, is going to have a hard time getting her constellations. However, that doesn't mean it's nigh impossible to get them. If you're lucky, or willing to spend a few bucks, it's definitely possible.

Constellations to look out for are C2, C4, and C6
Constellation Name | In-Game Description |
---|---|
Spiraling Tempest (C1) | Increases the pulling speed of Gale Blade after holding for more than 1s and increases the DMG dealt by 40%. |
People's Aegis (C2) | When Jean picks up an Elemental Orb/Particle, all party members have their movement SPD and ATK SPD increases by 15% for 15s. |
When the West Wind Arises (C3) | Increases the Levelof Dandelion Breeze by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
Lands of Dandelion (C4) | Within the Field created by Dandelion Breeze, all enemies have their Anemo RES decreased by 40% |
Outbursting Gust (C5) | Increases the Level of Gale Blade by 4. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
Lion's Fang, Fair Protector of Mondstadt (C6) | Incoming DMG is decreased by 35% within the Field created by Dandelion Breeze. Upon leaving the Dandelion Field, this effect lasts for 3 attacks of 10s. |
Jean gets the best of both worlds by having her support buffs scale from raw power. By stacking ATK, Jean can deal respectable damage while patching up the wounds incurred across the rest of your team, allowing for very little downtime in your overall damage output when the need to patch yourself up inevitably arises. Jean also would want an energy recharge of 160% if she's the only solo Anemo character in your team, and 140% if there's another one.
Best Weapons For Jean
Jean wants nothing more than ATK, making her weapon choices simple. Here are some of them:

Up to 3 Succession Seeds may exist simultaneously. After using an Elemental Burst, all Succession Seeds are consumed and after 2s, the character regenerates6Energy for each seed consumed. |
Festering Desire | Increases Elemental Skill DMG by16% and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by6%. |
Best Artifacts for Jean
Jean has three different artifacts that she can opt to use. Them being Viridescent Venerer, Noblesse Oblige, and Gladiator's Finale. You'd want to use 2 piece Viridescent Venerer and 2 piece Gladiator's Finale as a generalist set. If there's no one using Noblesse Oblige or Viridescent Venerer in your team, that's the only time you can go for 4 pieces of either of the two.
